FE CREDIT AWARDS 100 SCHOLARSHIPS TO UNDERPRIVILEGED STUDENTS IN BAC LIEU

At the end of November, FE CREDIT partnered with the “Dân Trí Scholarship Program for 2024-2025 School Year” to award 100 scholarships to underprivileged students in Vĩnh Lợi District and Giá Rai Town, Bạc Liêu Province. With a total value of VND 100 million, these scholarships serve as a meaningful source of encouragement for the students on their educational journey.

The scholarship award ceremony took place in a warm and emotional atmosphere, attended by representatives from FE CREDIT, Dân Trí News, leaders of provincial departments and agencies in Bạc Liêu, as well as students and parents from remote districts of the province. These scholarships go beyond financial assistance, offering hope, motivation, and encouragement to underprivileged students, empowering them to continue their educational journey and pursue their dreams.

Heart-warming stories of resilient students

Among the scholarship recipients, many face exceptionally challenging circumstances. One such student is Nguyễn Phạm Phúc Huy, a 7th-grade student from Nguyễn Minh Nhựt Secondary School in Châu Hưng Town, Vĩnh Lợi District. Receiving the scholarship, Huy couldn’t hide his emotions and expressed heartfelt gratitude to the benefactors through his sincere words: “I love going to school and dream of becoming a doctor. My parents work hard to support my education. With this scholarship, I can buy new books and school supplies, making this school year even more enjoyable”.

Sharing the same joy as Phúc Huy, Nguyễn Tường Vy, a 3rd-grade student from Châu Thới Primary School in Châu Thới Commune, Vĩnh Lợi District, eagerly shared that she would use her scholarship to buy a new school uniform. Tường Vy has lived away from her parents since an early age, spending her childhood with her elderly grandparents and riding to school alone each day on an old bicycle. However, for this young student, the dream of becoming a teacher in the future has always been a source of motivation, driving her to work harder and stay diligent every day. Vy shared emotionally, “My grandparents are over 70 years old now, but they still work in the fields to support my education. With this scholarship, I’m so happy that I’ll finally have a new uniform.”

Stories like those of Phúc Huy and Tường Vy touched the hearts of everyone present at the scholarship ceremony. The program awarding 100 scholarships with a total value of 100 million VND by FE CREDIT in Bạc Liêu province is part of the company’s 2024 Corporate Social Responsibility. Earlier, FE CREDIT also collaborated with the “Pair of loving leaves” program to provide 3 scholarships worth VND 150 million to underprivileged children in Ho Chi Minh City. Going forward, FE CREDIT will continue to stand alongside the community, carrying out more meaningful charity initiatives across the northern, central, and southern regions of Vietnam. These initiatives aim to collaborate with governmental and local organizations to improve the quality of life for residents, fulfil millions of Vietnamese dreams, and contribute to the overall sustainable development of society.
