Note: If the early stage cancer benefit has been paid, and the late stage Cancer payment is later incurred, PVI Insurance will only pay the difference compensation amount. In no event shall the total benefits covered exceed the Sum insured of the selected Plan.

Exclusion

1. Cancer or Death from Cancer:

- Sickness or injury other than cancer

- Existing disease

- Congenital pathology

- The disease has cancer symptoms in waiting time

- HIV / AIDS

2. Death caused by accident:

- Insured who participates in professional sports activities or dangerous sports activities

Effective time
T = 0 Accidental death: The insurance takes effect right after the Insured pays the full premium.
T = 90 After being diagnosed with cancer for the first time
T = 90 Death by cancer
NOTE:
1. Single payment only
2. The Insured is alive for at least 30 days after diagnosis

SITUATION:

Ms. D participates in Cancer Care insurance. 3 months after that. she had late stage cancer, then 5 months later, Ms. D died of cancer.

So what is the insurance benefit of Ms D covered by PVI? (Ms. D is participating in Superior package, and meet insurance requirements)

ANSWERS:

Based on the Insurance benefit, in this case, Ms. D will be paid with 2 insurance benefits:

1. Payment for "Late stage cancer" benefits: VND 300 million

2. Payment of "Death by cancer": 12 million VND

=> Total amount paid by PVI: 312 million VND.
